Tall, commanding player who is good on the ball. Gained representative honours for the England non-league side and after starting as a Reading youth player has appeared for Thatcham Town, Maidenhead Utd., Didcot Town and Reading Town.

Was with AFC Bournemouth as a youngster before switching to a successful athletics career which saw him as a member of the G.B Junior team and holder of the national indoor relay record squad.
