All-square again in replayed match
Late goal see game end all-square
The earlier encounter at Oak Tree Road just a few weeks ago ended 1-1 with a 95th minute goal from Jay Welch
rescuing a point for the Blues and it was another late equaliser that again saw the game end all square but this time in favour of the home side.
The original of this game had taken place back in December with Chalfont coming out on top 3-0 but the Southern League and the FA had ordered a replay following an incident relating to that game and so both teams met up again for this fixture.
Marlow had taken the lead in the 43rd minute when Isaac Osei-Tutu
had used his pace to slice through the home defence and touch the ball past the home keeper where Kamaron English had touched it over the home goal-line from what looked a highly suspicious offside position.
The score remained this way until the dying moments of the game when Adam Kirby grabbed an equaliser to see the sides once again finish on level terms.
