Football Field Maintenance Fund

We now have a Football Field Maintenance Donation plan in operation at the club. This is to fund the continuing maintenance of the pitch. Donations can be made on match days by contacting a member of staff at the club who will direct you to the organiser.

The pitch has been divided into grids and priced according to their prominence, The names of the individual sponsors are entered into their grids and will also be entered into a prize draw at the season's end in recognition of their generosity.

Grids are priced at:-

£50 (all taken), £30 (all taken), £25, £20 and £10.

North Greenford match re-arranged

The much-rearranged match away to North Greenford had again had to be postponed.

At 5.33pm on Tuesday evening we were informed that following a pitch inspection the match referee had found areas on the pitch that were unsafe and with lower temperatures to follow this led him to decide that the match could not go ahead.

The new date for another try is now Tuesday 21st February at 19.45..

MATCH POSTPONED & RE-ARRANGED

Last Saturday's game v Woodford United fell foul of the weather and has had to be cancelled as a result of the pitch being frozen

This game has now been re-arranged for Tuesday 28th February at 7.45pm.

The next game is away at Northwood on Saturday 11th February.

NORTHWOOD GAME RE-ARRANGED

The match at Northwood scheduled for Saturday 11th February was postponed following the recent snowfall and continuing cold spell.

An early pitch inspection on Saturday morning found the pitch to be in an unplayable condition and the anticpated cancellation resulted.

The match has now been re-scheduled for Tuesday 6th March at 7.45pm.

STONE LEAVES - CROXFORD STEPS UP

Following last Saturday’s very disappointing performance manager Kevin Stone immediately offered his resignation to the Club and after considering this over the next 24 hours it has been accepted.

Assistant Manager Steve Croxford has agreed to take over in the interim period whilst a permanent solution is pursued and this will give him the opportunity to decide whether he would like to be considered as a permanent replacement along with any other applicants that may make themselves available for consideration.

Kevin’s association with the Club goes back to his first contact when he was 8 years old and he has served the Club over a long period as player and manager. Marlow F.C is most grateful to him for this long service and commitment and would like to wish him well for the future in the knowledge that he will always be most welcome at Oak Tree Road.
