The Directors of Marlow Football Club have taken the bold decision to replace our traditional printed programme with a new digital version of the programme. There are several factors that have led us to taking this step and we understand that it will be quite a change for many of our supporters who have been purchasing printed programmes for many years, but we believe that it is the way forward for programmes for non-league football.
Perhaps the biggest change of all is that the digital programme will be distributed free of charge. Over the coming weeks we will be adding new ways to download programme from different channels – our club website, Facebook, Twitter and from QR codes that will be displayed at the ground. This will enable you to get the programme on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC – the choice is yours.
With this new approach our programme will now be available to a much larger audience and can be shared freely to anyone who would like a copy.
The digital programme is in PDF format and is sized to be readable on a wide range of devices and screen sizes. To get the best experience we recommend that you import the digital programme to your eBook reader. We have tested the programme with iBooks (the built-in app on the iPhone & iPad), with Google Play Books (on Android), as well as Kindle, although there are many different apps you can use.
The programme is intended to use the built-in auto-rotate feature, particularly when viewing the tables. If you experience and problems with this, make sure it is enabled on your device.
We hope you enjoy our new digital programme and would welcome your feedback and any suggestions for how we can make enhancements. We would also ask for you to contribute new content. To keep the programme fresh and interesting to read, we need you to contribute new content, so if you are a budding journalist and would like to write an article or maybe even a new column, please get in touch.
